Ecco un modo per fermare i numeri in calo della rete fissa

Basta metterli assieme alla rete mobile, e non presentare piu' l'EBITDA separato.

Spiega Enrico :

Nel dicembre 2008 Eurostat aveva pubblicato la Eurostat Euro newsrelease 169/2008 "Internet Access and Use in EU27 in 2008".
Da questa breve pubblicazione compariva che l'Italia era l'unico paese in cui le famiglie con accesso ad internet erano diminuito nel 2008, passando dal 43% al 42%.

Se ben vi ricordate, la notizia era stata ripresa su siti specializzati e anche mi sembra anche sui giornali (qui c'è un link di esempio  ).

Analizzando però negli ultimi tempi delle statistiche e dei dati sull'accesso a Internet mi ero accorto che sugli indicatori "Information Society Statistics" di Eurostat (accessibili da questo dashboard)  che il dato riguardante l'accesso delle famiglie italiane nel 2008 era del 47%, quindi in crescita rispetto al 2007.

Contattando i responsabili di Eurostat e i responsabili di Istat per queste statistiche la realtà statistica dei fatti è la seguente:

1) Sull'Euro newsrelease 169/2008 il dato 2008 al 42% (quello che ha scatenato i commenti e gli articoli) è errato mentre è giusto il 47%. I dati al 43% nel 2007 e al 47% nel 2008 sono infatti relativi al campione delle famiglie che hanno almeno un membro tra i 16 e 74 anni di età. Il dato al 42% invece si riferiva all'intero campione delle famiglie ed era stato erroneamente inserito.
2) Quindi, per l'Italia la situazione è la seguente: sul campione di tutte le famiglie, nel 2007 il 38,8% delle famiglie aveva accesso ad internet, mentre nel 2008 siamo al 42% (si veda Tavola 1 della pubblicazione Istat - Cittadini e Nuove Tecnologie). Per il campione di famiglie con almeno un membro tra i 16 e 74 anni, si è passati dal 43% nel 2007 al 47% nel 2008.

In definitiva, sebbene i livelli di accesso delle famiglie italiane ad Internet siano estremamente inferiori alla media Europea, può rincuorare che la la notizia  che era stata diffusa sia falsa.

Universal is the first major to sign up with the service, which was launched by Ged Day, the founder of download service Bleep.com. People's Music Store is described as being powered by music fans. The Universal deal will allow users to promote and sell the music they like, earning 10% of the sale price in reward points they can exchange for tracks from the store.

Asked if the settlement fee amounted to 30,000 euros ($39,050), a sum cited by France Info radio, Isabelle Wekstein told Reuters by phone: "There has been an agreement of that order." .... It had initially offered the band one euro in symbolic damages for copyright infringement.

The French law, which is backed by President Nicolas Sarkozy, suffered an unexpected defeat at the hands of the Socialist Party there when it first came up for a vote. Sarkozy has said that he expects the law to be adopted by May 14, Billboard reports.

Oggi hanno raggiunto un compromesso a Bruxelles, tra industria del copyright e difensori delle libertà degli utenti e di conseguenza è cambiato il testo della bozza del nuovo pacchetto Telecoms (che dovrebbe valere dal 2010). In sostanza: sì alla disconnessione degli utenti internet se fanno peer to peer, ma solo per ordine della magistratura e per opera della polizia (contro la cui decisione gli utenti possono fare ricorso). L’industria voleva che venisse fanno direttamente, per ordine del governo e attraverso i provider, saltando la magistratura. I difensori degli utenti volevano che l’accesso internet fosse considerato diritto universale dell’uomo e quindi intoccabile.

Neutralità della rete e aspetti socio-economici | Fondazione Ugo Bordoni.

Il quinto appuntamento del ciclo 2009 dei Seminari Bordoni si terrà giovedì 14 maggio ed avrà per tema la neutralità della rete ed i connessi aspetti socio-economici.

Per approfondire meglio queste tematiche, affrontate spesso con approcci assai differenti, la FUB, in collaborazione con NNSquad Italia (ente associativo di recente costituzione che si occupa specificamente di neutralità della rete), ha organizzato un apposito dibattito tra le parti in gioco. Interverrà come keynote speaker, per introdurre i fondamentali economici e sociali della questione, il Dr. Kenneth Carter, Senior Research Fellow al Columbia Institute for Tele-Information della Columbia University e consulente presso la consociata WIK-Consult del WIK (Wissenschaftliches Institut für Kommunikationsdienste).
