L'erba del vicino: in UK il ministro delle Comunicazioni non vuole il porno

L'idea (sua) e' che se vuoi accedere a contenuti porno devi fare un opt-in specifico.
L'attuale modello (opt-out, con parental control) non va bene ?

Si vuole replicare su Internet il modello TV. Hanno capito tutto...

The move comes as some of Britain's biggest broadband providers prepare for talks with Communications Minister Ed Vaizey. Representatives from TalkTalk, BT and Virgin Media are to meet Mr Vaizey to discuss how they can stop pornography being seen by youngsters. The Communications Minister told the Sunday Times: ' This is a very serious matter. I think it is very important that the Internet Service Providers (ISPs) come up with solutions to protect children. 'I am hoping they will get their acts together so we don't have to legislate, but we are keeping an eye on the situation and we will have a new communications bill in the next couple of years.'

Che, guarda un po', è esattamente quello che avevo detto che sarebbe successo: una volta che si accetta la censura, cosa censurare è solo una decisione politica.

Direi che e' uno dei principi ispiratori quando si legifera "su internet"...
E' cio che capita quando il legislatore assomiglia sempre piu' al braccio armato delle major (vabbe in italia siamo un caso speciale.. il legislatore E' una major)

Idea molto bislacca ma nondimeno pericolosa, la censura nelle mani della politica può fare danni enormi.
